The valve, Tuuber® dual seal air admittance valve, can be used as a secondary plumbing vent alternative method for venting a plumbing DWV system. The valve offers 2x the sealing performance and can virtually eliminate the need for a secondary plumbing drain vent pipe to outside.
What makes TUUBER® air admittance valve different?
 The valve uses a patented dual seal utility developed to keep plumbing Drain, Waste and Vent (DWV) system sewer drain gasses and odors safely out of a home or building. The valve also uses a patented triple flow passage utility that is sensitive to pressure changes allowing an upper seal and lower seal to lock out sewage gasses and odors.
As soon as the valve detects a negative pressure (-0.01 psi) it opens to provide air passage into the valve from the room to satisfy the plumbing system drain vent negative pressure resulting in allowing proper air into the plumbing system as the waste flows down the drain.
The valve seals itself by gravity and at positive pressure (0 psi and above) to maintain a high-pressure seal. The valve can be used as a secondary alternative method to vent 1-1/2" or 2" DWV plumbing vent pipe for individual, branch and stack type vents.
